About the author

Fabio Attanasio was born in Naples and graduated from Milan’s prestigious Bocconi University in Law. While a student, he developed a growing passion for classic menswear, which led him to visit tailors and artisans across Italy and Europe, documenting their work and perspectives.

In 2012, he founded The Bespoke Dudes, a blog focused on sartorial culture and craftsmanship. Following a stint as a contributor to GQ Italia, he collaborated with Velasca Milano on a capsule collection. In 2015, he launched TBD Eyewear, an independent brand of handmade Italian eyewear, where he currently serves as CEO.

He is the author of Scent of Tailoring – Vol. I (2021), which explores tailoring traditions in Italy and Spain, and Vol. II (2022), dedicated to English and French ateliers. In 2024, he published Vita da Gentleman (Giunti Editore), a contemporary guide to men’s style and etiquette. Scent of Tailoring Volume III - The American Jacket (2025) continues his exploration in international tailoring.
